DUCK, N.C. (June 10, 2006) – The Sanderling Resort and Spa’s recent $4 million renovation not only bestows luxurious accommodations, it gives guests the ability to stay connected via wireless internet. Beginning June 1, every guest room and villa will have a wireless connection. Whether it’s a vacation or business trip, guests won’t miss a thing now that it’s so easy to tune in to the World Wide Web.
“Many people feel disconnected without access to email and the internet, even when they’re on vacation” says Alan Brand, General Manager of The Sanderling. “We want people to think of us as their home away from home. And with the new look and feel of our guest rooms, this was naturally the next step.”
The wireless internet is a significant addition to the resort’s on-site IACC conference center, which hosts large group meetings and business conferences for up to 200 people. Wireless access makes it easy for business meetings to utilize telecommunication and internet based learning.
The Sanderling Resort and Spa is located in Duck, NC, tucked between the Atlantic Ocean and the Currituck Sound. The resort offers eighty-eight luxurious guest rooms, five spacious villas, a full service spa, two award-winning restaurants, an indoor pool, fitness center and an IACC conference center. Each new guest room and suite features a private balcony overlooking the ocean or sound, a 32-inch flat screen TV, eclectic furnishings, king-size pillow top bed and wireless internet.
The Sanderling Resort and Spa would like to invite you to be one of the first to experience our newly renovated guest rooms.
