After a relaxing spa treatment, cuddle up in front of one of the Inn’s three fireplaces with a best selling book, a great glass of wine and experience the beauty of winter in the Outer Banks

Duck, N.C.—The landmark 88-room Sanderling, nestled in the dunes between the Atlantic ocean and Currituck Sound, presents a winter package offering up a choice of 10 best selling books paired with 10 of the resort’s best selling wines and three of their most popular spa treatments. The “Best Sellers” package begins at $189 per person, per night (excluding tax and gratuity) and includes a book for each person, one bottle of wine per night and one spa treatment per person from the special selections provided below. The package also offers afternoon tea and cookies, a bakery basket delivered daily and fitness center privileges at The Sanderling. Guests must specify their wine and book choice along with the spa treatment when booking the package, which is available from January 2nd to March 20, 2005.

Additional room nights can be reserved beginning at $118 per night or a second night with the full “Best Sellers” package of amenities can be booked as well. Furthermore, the 8,000 square-foot Spa at The Sanderling has an extensive menu of services available a la carte.

Spa Treatments Choices for the “Best Sellers” package (each approximately 50 minutes)
Sanderling Signature Massage, a therapeutic massage with stress reducing oils and warm steamed towels.

Russian Olive Refuge, which incorporates an exfoliation, a warm body wrap and then the application of the Russian Olive lotion.

Barefoot on the Banks pedicure with Babor products which includes a lavender soak bath, natural peeling, seaweed masque with heated booties, a paraffin dip for the feet followed by a lavender oil massage and a polish.
